This week an evangelical pastor in America, a very well known one suggested that Christians should arm themselves and be willing to engage in civil war. Ridiculous right?
Maybe not unless you’re clear on your view of Jesus and non-violence, or if you use Old Testament Scriptures to justify, well, just about anything.
So I ask you. Please read the article by Brian Zahnd from 2018. Who explains one of the passages used by the pastor to encourage readiness for civil war and taking up arms.
